Biography

AJ Heath is a British documentary photographer currently based in London. AJ has worked as a freelance photographer for the past nine years and has had work published by the Times, The Guardian and Al Jazeera, among others. In 2014, AJ gained a Master’s degree in Photojournalism & Documentary photography from the University of the Arts London. He then spent the next 12 months living in the Himalayan Kingdom of Bhutan. AJ's first solo photography book 'Way of Harmony: Portraits from Bhutan' was published in November 2017 which documents the cultural & generational clash between the traditional Buddhist way of life and the modern world the millennial generation are now growing up. 

In 2018 AJ co-founded Sheeko Productions Ltd, a London based production company specialising in storytelling through documentary filmmaking and photography.
