Way of Harmony is a collect of portraits from Bhutan, documenting the cultural and generational clash between the traditional Buddhist way of life and the modern world in which the millennial generation are now growing up.

Sitting alongside the portraits are conversations between myself and my subjects, in which they discuss what it means to be Bhutanese at a time of rapid transition and what makes them happy in a country where happiness is ‘prescribed’ and measured by the government as part of the Gross National Happiness initiative.
